Circle Studies
exploring proportions and forces of circle
for concentration and creativity
In the Circle studies, you'll discover the power of geometry: With precise exercises and the targeted use of the compass, you'll immerse yourself in the world of shapes, proportions, and symmetries. These studies promote your concentration, sharpen your visual perception, and offer a unique, meditative exploration of the circle and its infinite possibilities. A creative and cognitive training based on pure mathematics that opens up new perspectives.
about me
My name is Hovhannes, a 43-year-old simultaneous interpreter, translator, educator, and artist with over 20 years of experience.
Born into a family of artists and doctors, I have spent my life exploring universal harmonies, symmetries and colours. This lifelong fascination with art and science has shaped my creative and professional career. Working as a simultaneous interpreter—one of the most demanding professions—has deepened my curiosity about how the human brain works and how we can easily enhance its capabilities.
I have developed a unique workshop that combines art, geometry, and science to help others improve their cognitive abilities. Through the practical creation of symmetrical patterns and with varied exercises, participants can improve their concentration, creativity, and problem-solving skills—all based on scientific principles, without any spiritual elements.
I offer tools and techniques for mental clarity and creative growth that have played a pivotal role in my own life.

results
-
Drawing precise geometric patterns requires sustained attention and strengthens concentration. The mental discipline developed through these exercises improves concentration, which is always necessary at work and in everyday tasks.
-
Creating complex patterns requires patience and precision.
The process teaches perseverance and resilience, helping individuals develop long-term focus and an appreciation for detailed work.
-
Creating patterns requires both logic and creativity and engages both hemispheres of the brain. This dual activation increases cognitive flexibility, promotes innovative thinking, and more effective problem solving.
-
Regularly working with geometric patterns trains the brain to recognize patterns faster and more accurately. This cognitive skill is crucial in areas such as data analysis, problem solving, and logical reasoning.
"The protractor and compass are the tools of the free man.
They are the tools of that thought which believes itself to possess the ability to report on reality, to reveal its laws, and—when it comes to making people's lives easier and turning their destiny for the better—to improve them.

beauty instead of medication
-
The repetitive, symmetrical nature of geometric patterns has a calming effect on the mind, similar to meditation. This reduces anxiety and promotes mental relaxation, conveying a sense of peace and balance.
-
You will gain a deeper understanding of the harmony of natural and artistic patterns and develop an appreciation for symmetry, proportions, and the beauty of structures.
-
Drawing patterns improves spatial awareness
and memory by activating the areas of the brain responsible for recognizing symmetry, proportion, and patterns.
This can enhance cognitive performance in areas such as math, science, and design.
-
The techniques learned can be used at any time as a form of conscious relaxation and help participants establish a routine for mental clarity, concentration and emotional balance.
